Hiking and Picnic - 29/11/08

Yesterday was a tiring and enjoyable day. We went hiking at Mount Faber, and had picnic at the hill top. It was pouring heavily in the morning. Luckily, the rain stopped in the afternoon. In fact, it was quite sunny. Inside the woods was very humid. While hiking, we had to take pictures of five different flowers and five different types of insects and animals.

Almost 80 people attended our outing yesterday. It was quite fun, seeing all the young children and old people participating together, without anyone complaining. The whole journey is equivalent to climbing 24 storeys. It's really a pity that few young Sinagaporeans enjoyed this type of outing. Youngsters nowadays are so pampered, as if walking a few metres will break their legs.

After Exams

Yesterday was my last paper. End of exams!! Hooray!!! Right after the paper, Yanping, Irene, Weiwei and me went Chicago Steakhouse for lunch. I had sirloin steak with clam, yanping and weiwei had slipper lobster spaghetti and irene had chicken bowtie pasta. The lunch comes in a set, with soup of the day and drinks. Altogether we spent a total of S$52.45 (inclusive of 10% svc charge and 7% GST) on the lunch. Well, i would say it's quite worth it. Sketches would cost more..

After our lunch, we went to Sitex in EXPO. Woah, there were sooooooo many people! It was really people mountain people sea! Haha.. in the end, we didn buy anything. Irene and I only wanted to check out the hard disk, but decided not to buy that day. Yanping also went around looking at cameras, but decided to look around in other places before buying. Of course, i recommended her Mustafa..haha...(he's going to become my good friend! I'm going to make a trip there again to shop for christmas pressies!)

Sooo excited! Christmas is round the corner and tomorrow, i'm going to have pinic in Hort Park. Followed by that, i'll be laeving for KL on Thu. Life is so wonderful. I better enjoy it while i still have the energy and time, you all should too!

Art and craft - my fav interest

My church fren's helper will be going back to her country this week. They're going to send her off, all the way to her hometown. That was so sweet. Indeed, you'll most probably find such kind people with big hearts in church.

The helper was really a great help. She can cook and sew very well, and cut hair. She has a willing heart to learn. I would say such a helper is not easy to come by. And, she's around my age! It's really sad to see her leave. Hope that she'll accomplish great things in life!

I've made something for her as a farewell gift (pic above). It may not be very beautiful but it's the one and only one in the whole wide world! I've been quite down this whole semester. But when i was in Popular shopping for the materials, i felt soooo excited! It was somethingt that i've not felt for a very long time. And all those materials gave me so much inspiration! Since there's inspiration, i quickly bought all the necessary stuffs and went home immediately to start on my craft. I must say it was so enjoyable. It was then i remebered this dream that i once had. To own a studio, where i can do all my art works. Just the thought of it makes me thrilled!

Emo...

Time flew. Many things happened. Went running just now. But, i walked more than ran. While walking, i was thinking. I've thought a lot. About the past, present and future. Honestly, i'm tired. I thought of the happy times shared with all my frens and also the times i've been sad and heart-broken. Well, i would say it's not really an easy path. Wosh, I must give myself a pat on my shoulder.

I had dinner in a cafe just now. It has changed. The furniture arrangement as well as the menu. I prefer the way it used to be. The memories shared there was still fresh in my mind. It's been a long time and I thought i had forgotten them. It was a pity that i didn't cherish the past. So now, i've got only the memories left. Memories that were sweet yet brought tears to my eyes.

Was the run good? Maybe it has become a habit. Whenever i feel down, i just feel like running, as though i'm running away from those things that have been on my mind. While i was running, the question "What is it that you feel like doing the most now?" suddenly popped into my mind. And without hestitation, my answer was, go on a holiday, somewhere, anywhere far, where nobody knows me, nobody can contact me. I've even thought of moving out, out of east.

I'm somehow sicked and tired of my everyday routine. It seems that everything has a pattern. I can almost predict what's going to happen next. The things i do, the places i go, the faces i see are all the same, same, same. I want something new, neW, NEW! It seemed that my thoughts are very distorted today. Anyway, i just want to enjoy life, so tht i'll have no regrets. If i'm going to die tomorrow morning, tonight, i'll go for a spin, even if it's just around Singapore.

Exams, or Play Time?

Yea...finally it's exams! It's not that i love it, just that it's only this period of time i feel more relaxed. No more projects and reports for the moment. Beginning of this week, i still can't get used to it, felt that i've nothing to do. Haha...in fact, i've got lots of revision to do. 3 yrs of uni life, this is the first time that i look forward to exams. After exams, wow..tht'll be play time! I've already got some activities lined up.

First, i'll go KL for MNC, then on the 9th is my birthday!!! Yipee! Following will be a chalet with my gang of pigs and dogs (LOLX)..soon before you know, Christmas is HERE!!!! Wow...can't wait for Dec to come! So exciting!
