Projects projects projects...i'm going CRAZY!!!!!!!!!

Yes..i'm soooooo stress!!! So many projects this semester! I'm going to be crushed by them. Though i start school at 1130am everyday (meaning i can wake up at 9am), i'm still lack of sleep! Haiz..............my dear God, pls gimme more ENERGY and DRIVE!!!!

Had pilates today. Did the chest lift until my neck muscles ache. Think my position was wrong, resulting in me using the wrong muscles. Whatever, my body is aching.. hands, legs, shoulder and abs. Ayiah...i think i'm becoming an ah mah soon. Body aching everywhere!

The instructor even call us to go home practise cos on the last lesson, she'll ask all of us to do all the things we've learned! OMG! Sounds like a test to me! In all my life i've never liked tests and exams! The only test i like is NAFA.. -.-! Let's see how am i going to make a fool out of myself..

The time now is 1146pm. Not really that late. But i'm starting to feel the tiredness. Guess i really need rests. There's no spelling error for 'rests'. Cos it's not just 'rest'. Rather, it shd be 'restssssssssss'! Goodness! I really can't take it anymore. Going to sleep now..eyelids drooping.. Nitez (",)

Friendship Day - 17 Aug'08

Last Sunday, there was a special service for friendship day. The whole program was planned by the young adults group. We had the workload divided. Michelle and i were the emcees for the day. Overall, the 'show' was great! I had received lots of 'thanks' from the leaders. I felt so awkward whenever they said 'Good Job!' or 'Well done!'. Maybe i still wasn't used to ppl praising in front of me. Haha...whatever, all the glory belongs to God! Amen!

Preparation was fun. Though tough, had to attend endless meetings, our efforts paid off. Plus, everyone was very co-operative. They did their part well, without complains. Tht's church. How i wish outside ppl are like tht too. Then, there wouldn't be so much headache and frictions when it comes to doing project.

It's a real pleasure working with the bros and sis in church. They are much more kind. Working together was so enjoyable, nvm about the hardwork. It's worth it. Anyway, everytime when we get to work together, we somehow know one another better, their style of working, their personality. I just dunno how to fully describe the whole experience. In simple words, they are genuine. Real people, real life, real God.

Though we had rehearsed and practised, there are still some unexpected situations. However, we did not stop or showed our displeasure. We just carried on. Everyone was very responsible and tried their very best to perform. Therefore, they deserved a round of applause! * CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP!!*

Too bad i dun have the photos with me yet. I'll post them once i get hold of them!

Let's hope that God will use us to do even greter things! Oh, i look forward to the next special service for 'Family Day' in Sep'08! This time round, it's going to be prepared by the adults group. I'm sure there will be surprises and terrific performance too! (",)

First Day Back in NTU

I'm still not very used to my school. There's some renovation. The canteen is converted into a foodcourt now. And it's sooooo smelly. You can smell the oil just by walking past. It's very terrible. I'll never step into it! Worse come to worse, i'll eat fastfood everyday!

My first day of school was on wed though sch started on mon. My lessons started at 1130am. I was very punctual, on the dot. However, i saw the wrong venue and went all the way to LT16. In the end, i had to walked all the way back to LT1A, at the front. As a result, i was 10 mins late for my lecture.

What's more interesting was, my friend don't recognise me! Irene thought i was just somebody who wanted to sit around them. Wei wei even more funny. She didn't even know it was me until i talked to her. She still pondered a while who is this talking to her lo! Yanping was ultimate. After the lecture ended, she came over, talked to wei wei and irene and completely ignored me, even though i kept on looking at her! Until we stepped out of the LT, then she realised it was me. She said all the while she's been thinking 'why this gal so weird, keep on looking at me?' LOlx!! Maybe i really looked different without my glasses and shorter hair..haha

I attended an elective on 'Directed Readings on Modern Chinese Songs Lyrics'. The lecturer is Liang Wen Fu! OMG! I didn't know it was him when i registered for this course. Just when i was thinking that i'm so 'heng', he told us the medium used in exams is chinese, and no dictionary is allowed! OMG! OMG!! OMG!!! Chinese is ok for me. But without dictionary?! It's like talking but no voice coming out! There are so many words i can't write! Haiz.. so i need to check out whether there's any vacancy for 'Are you ok? Mental Health'. Currently, there's no more vacancies. What to do? Maybe i shall just accept the challenge!

So, the first day was not that fantastic. Went to the wrong LT, brought the wrong notes, had a big shock during elective and frens dun even recognise me! Haha...let's hope next week's going to be better! " )

Facilitating in RSS (Part 2)

Facilitating the pri 5 kids are as fun as for the pri 4. The bunch of kids under me are so interesting. The guys are so full of ideas. My group was really so cool! They are sooo initiative and responsive! I really wonder what milk powder kids nowadays consume...

One of the most amazing activity was project 1: suspending a ball between 4 tables, using straws and masking tapes, and project 2: using vanguard sheets so that 3 stress balls can roll from one table to the other on their own. These 2 projects were ongoing concurrently.The children fumbled for quite sometime to get things done cos they are not working in their small groups. They're working together as a whole cohord. So, it's really messy. U dun even know what were they doing. However, this was what exactly we wanted. We wanted to let them see that they're not working together. A leader must be appointed, then followed by sub leaders for each projects. In the end, they got the job done, and a lot of fun!

Faciliating is real fun and interesting. Maybe i shd consider this line...lolx!!

Car Battery Flat!

After facilitaing st RSS today, we realised that the car batt was flat! Goodness! Andrew and Mason helped to pushed the car. I was carrying the stuffs, watching them push up and down the carpark. It's my first time encountering this. Quite curious..haha

In the end, the car still couldn't get started. Alvin had to call his fren over to jumpstart the car. We waited a while for him to arrive. After around 15 mins, we saw his fren coming in a LandRover. After witnessing the jumpstart, i even got the chance to sit in the LandRover cos it's on the way. Not bad an experience man!

My Mint Plant

Recently, a fren gave me a pot of mint leaves to plant. He said just water daily will do. Not much care needed. Very easy to look after. But apparently, my plant is dying. Is it becos i do not have green hands? Or the info given by him is not accurate? I only know the poor plant is dying in my hands..OMG! Can anyone save it? My dad said he'll help me 'gao dim'. But till now, he hasn't done anything! He only took care of his own plants lo...haiz!

On the first day, the plant is quite big. The leaves and stem are green and healthy. Now, the leaves have wilted and the stems are black, dead. I even had to 'trim' the plant (means cutting away the dead parts). So, it's getting smaller and smaller. I also dunno why, the soil seems to get leser and lesser too! Weird!!!! Can anyone tell me how to plant a healthy mint plant? I feel so sad looking at it dying day by day... :'(
